The author of the book has revealed the life of Bal Thakerey, showcasing his struggles in life with all ups and downs. Thackeray started his career as a cartoonist with the English daily The Free Press Journal and soon left the job and established his own weekly Marmik. Then, he directed his career as an advocate and started working against the growing influence of non-Marathis in Mumbai, he created a wave in Maharashtra’s politics. 

Sujata, though brought into the occupation of journalism with force, but today she has fun and enjoys doing the job. She is a political reporter and writes about the politicians and currently works as the political editor of the Mumbai edition ins Hindustan Times.
