Reminiscing India Indepence Movement with literary gems

Here is a call for the readers as every reader and a book lover has his taste or I would rather say his favorite subject. And, in my context, I must confess that I like books that evokes a feeling of patriotism in me and recall me about the independence movement. As these books, not only help me to get a better understanding of the history of India but also evokes a feeling in me to do something for the nation. To add this subject in my taste, I would say blame it on my background being involved in the Independence movement, my grandfather in person.
Thus, on the eve of Independence Day, I could not think of a better time to come out with the best books with my top 3 titles on Indian Independence Eve. Read on and celebrate the eve of Independence Day.

The book mainly centers around the movement of India Independence, during the time between 1946 and 1948. The novel includes the series of events that happened during the period and are worthy of this book being categorized as the historical one. The book has been written with an extensive research and provides incredible details that has been never revealed. The book is highly recommended on India Independence and partition. The book also includes interviews of Lord Mountbatten, the last viceroy of British India.

The book is brisk, racy and the incident-laden narration, from the founding of the Indian National Congress to the period of independence, attained by India. The explanation has been perfectly given, as has given a great feel to the book. Do not get intimidated by its size and yes, it has revealed the likes of Gandhiji and Lord Mountbatten, which seems to be worse.

The novel has been penned by John Keay, an English journalist and author, who is specialized in writing popular histories about India, particularly focussing on the colonization and discovery by Europeans. In “India: A history”. In this book, John provides a panoramic view starting from the cities of Harappa and Mohenjodaro of the Indus Valley civilizations all the way to the current modern India. The book is a great guide for the history students in India

Book Review: Meeting Shiva by Tiziana Stupia.

The book is  a spiritual memoir and in the book, it has been described in the most succinct way. It is a spiritual autobiography. The author, Tiziana Stupia has written in it how she got enlightenment by telling her personal state of growth and redemption and has been incorporated with a beautiful and inspiring approach. However, it’s a little different from the genre of books as spiritual autobiography as it will not meet up to your expectations if you are looking forward to it with some spiritually inclined tale. Here in the book, the author has penned a profoundly feet-of-clay story about real emotions, real turmoil and the on-going quest for healing. The writer has written about her story without introducing you with mystic gurus and instead of that, in the book there has been mentioned about the honesty and courageous degree.

The author is in her mid thirties and is on the verge of an adventurous overland trip through the Himalayas and embarks upon a tour in order to search her Tantric soul mate. However, even after eight months, this search of her does not meet, while wandering through the lands of   Tibet, Nepal, Pakistan and India, then finally she decides to go back home. Through the book, Tiziana has developed emotional intimacy for her to the readers and with her profound story I am deeply touched. As before, her departure for returning back to her place, she sets out on a final mountainous trip, where she meets Rudra, exactly the man of her dreams and for whom she has been waiting for all her life.  But, let me tell you that this guy, Rudra is  a celibate Hindu monk who lives in an ascetic ashram with strict rules in the secluded Himalayas. The two get drawn into an intense, romantic relationship that soon spirals out of control as Tiziana is drawn into a past long forgotten that ultimately leads her through pain and misery to healing and transformation.

The book, Meeting Shiva explores the dynamic between our spiritual lives and our love lives, by stating the story of what happened during the author’s brief, intense and clearly destined affair with a priest. This was a relationship that uncovered her soul to the core and sharing this transformation of one’ life is really a commendable thing. It is only by telling factual stories of our love experiences that we can start to triumph over the venomous and ambiguous myths and stories that our culture holds about what love is and how it works. Those fairy story beliefs so often set us up to fail.

If you are tired of self-help books and want to know about how to fix your love life and heal your soul, try this one as it will show and answer you some very good questions. An influential, provoking read, I personally like the book very much and highly recommend you to read and challenging yourself to find the same levels of poignant honesty.

Someone Perfect for you just a Step Away

“The moment you have in your heart this extraordinary thing called love and feel the depth, the delight, the ecstasy of it, you will discover that for you the world is transformed”. - Jiddu Krishnamurti
This above equation can describe the most what I feel some love, but withal the same is not even saying half the fact how I feel about love and how one should feel more or less the same. I have seen and meet people who restrain themselves and remain away from the one they feel most passionate about just because they are tied down by some of the most insignificant reasons, then be it their profession or because of the price differences.
perfect-for-you
But according to what I have experienced the most, when love comes to you no matter how hard you try to step away from the same you can never ignore the ecstasy you feel in your heart. Rather in most cases, people are left with one solution only which either they move in the direction where they can be with the person they are destined to be with or their stay shattered where they are.
Well, I’ll not tire you with the stupid beliefs, I live with but still there are many stories around us which can help you realize that sometimes it is better that we cast away the causes which are blocking us from falling in love and endure the life which is waiting for us at the other end of the flow.
For example, today we are here with the critique of one book which can help you understand its never too late to get down with a love story you have been waiting for your whole lifetime.
Kate Perry, according to me can be definitely mentioned as one of those authors who helps us in conceiving that no thing when you are with the person who is perfect for and make you feel and live the best day of your life every day.
Perfect for you’ is a story of Freya Godwin’s and Greg Cavanaugh, who are perfect for each other, but yet they are finding itreallyl hard to realize this elementary fact.
And now that Freya is dealing with the lack of muse and a hard adult website company to deal with, posting an ad to obtain a complete alpha male who can animate her in the right direction seems only option to her.
But no matter which road, she chose gray is always at the other terminal.
Gary has been dreaming of Freya since the time he first set his eyes on her and now that he is supplied with a very accurate reason, he sees no reason to step backward. Instead, this time he is out there to win her by hook or twist.
My words make sure you study this script as this is one which will never allow you sleep till the time you finish the same.

Can browse cannot browse

One can browse online books but cannot browse books online. An utterly contradictory statement but has a meaning in it. Let’s discuss about what do I mean by ‘browsing’ that can be done online and ‘browsing’ that cannot be done on the web. Browsing that can online I known to all of us as we all do it in order to find our things online on different websites and when talking about an online book store browsing can be done in order to find your favorite book and with browsing that cannot be done I mean opening a book and leafing through it. How important books are to you? It is a simple question to ask for but even though I found it really hard to answer when I was asked from one of the school-goers. It was like if I was asked for writing an epic on a grain of rice. For a moment it just left me dumb but then I replied her honestly and not being too pretentious by saying that they are my life. Even I sidestepped the question and tried to change the topic. Now here my readers I am asking you the same question, what do books mean to you? Here on my blog I expect if the answers will be positive and if not pretentiously and over hyped answers, these can be in simple terms as pretty good, love it etc. And from there I really want to ask the much related question: Do you visit bookshops? Now with this question, I think I would drawing a borderline to it by asking you do you visit the book stores physically or in the luxury of home just grab your book at your doorstep. Now I am going to put cross you with a series of propositions that some of you might disagree or even oppose. There are people out there who like to buy books by directing towards their store in order to grab their book, typical nomads who stoop and weave and go ahead. In this modernized age, there are some, the techno people who find it comfortable in having their desired book at home; they browse through online book stores like me. With my hectic schedule, I did not find time to indulge in my hobbies like reading because of the fact that I was not able to approach these traditional books with my schedule and thus missed a part of my life. And I found a way out in reaching my favorite store, the book sores online. Guess what, I heard the thudding of online bookstores that are in ample on the web world. Bang-on! There I found my online book store, Lelobooks as here I found all the book of my interest and that too on much discounted price. His also gave a boost to my bookshop going habit as now with no restricted time I can reach up to them and can order at my convenience I just zip in, order and zip out at any hour of the day and get my book at doorstep. So with this I do browsing online and browse and rifle through the pages when I get it.

Bring in your women’s day

I am moderately sure that on this day when the complete world is celebrating the initiation of women you must have already passed through various clauses which might have helped you in feeling a little nearer to the idea of fighting of self esteem. Only my dear ladies before you proceed any further with ours, let me distinguish you that this is not a bit of employment which has been created to differentiate how you can get support on your life or what you are missing, rather this is one which might pretend you feel as if you have accomplished nothing at all or might make you recognize that even afterwards you have bagged a promotion in your office recently there is a lot more you could have accomplished with the resources lined out there. Hence this is a request that please read below article only when you are ready to play with some of those dames who have actually taken a change in men’s approach towards women.
Modern world women are nothing at all which can be related to the one man use to burn simply because they were not happy with the services they served them with or the one who was thrust to stop her life precisely because her better half has lived the one he was blessed with. Instead, she is a lady “today’s women” who is not hesitant to inquire for her rights when feel ignored.
Preferably, to put in much light and harsh word you and I are not responsible for this change; frankly, we have answered zilch to establish this Earth a much better and a dependable space for ourselves. In fact, we are nevertheless surviving with a feeling that it’s the obligation of the men's society to furnish us the respect we are titled to. And this is a change we have been gifted from ladies how have actually fought to create a difference, then be it any field.
I am sure you are trying to think of a few, but don’t worry as below I have attempted to use my words in the best possible manner just then that I’ll be capable to manage the justice with the work these great women have reached. As well, just remember that, all of them might have not succeeded in their battle with a slug in their tenderness, but definitely be it with the help of a pen or a scissors these all outstanding ladies have demonstrated time and again that the success of this world is a joint motion of both manpower and women.
kiran bedi
If you are expecting for a true picture of heroism then Kiran Bedi is a name you can rely upon, not simply because she was the first women to join The India Police Services, rather because she is the one who help us in believing women are not only mentally but physically strong as well. Delivered in 1949 Amritsar, Punjab, when this lady brings out people with the dream no one knew she has the force to reach them as comfortably.
Candidly, if we’ll take up writing about this living legendary I am fairly sure we might have to go on for days, thence all we are able to show in this special composition of workplace are only few highlights which can assist you in understanding who truly she server her job which was previously intended for men exclusively.
After completing her education from sacred heart convent school in Amritsar, completing her graduate degree in English language from government was succeeding on her inclination. A masters degree in political science from Punjab university, a law degree from Delhi University and PhD from one of the most recognized institute IIT are few illustrations which can explain how firmly she believes in the purpose of training in one’s upbringing.
Talking about career, there is no question she has achieved a lot more than most men can perform, helping young women of India in understanding their role in society by education in Khalsa college for women in Amritsar, accomplishing numerous challenging assignment after being taken to help the indie police services like working as a traffic commissioner of New Delhi or serving as deputy inspector of police in the insurgency prone area of Mizoram are only a few examples which are in list
Most impressing fact about Kiran Bedi was she was never fearful to make sure people are sticking with regulations which are intended to be watched. In fact, even nowadays when she has been freed from her prescribed duty, she has extended her work to make sure India is establishing a progress in the correct way.
kalpana chawla
Held on 1st July 1961, Karnal, Haryana, Kalpana Chawla is the one who gave wings to Indian women. A function model for most Indian women who are projecting for a vocation in the study of aeronautics, this woman has helped us understand one can dream even higher then sky if they truly believe in themselves. People might suppose that she is no more or that her sudden demise has left this universe with a print to remember always. Only this is not want this woman was trying to, rather throughout her meritorious life which was full of various accomplishments, this cleaning lady was seeking to help others recognize that divinity has not served us with this life so that we can ravage the same with restriction and barriers rather one should endure every second in such a style that people after you can remember how one should strive hard to create a difference.
All in all Kalpana Chawla might be the first woman who made a journey to space, but she definitely helped many others to dream for the same.
We might have to terminate our discourse here, but you must recall that these two are not the only ladies who have played hard to create new ways for the next generation in fact be it any field you can think of be it writing, fashion, technology and any other you can come up with, there are women out there who are struggling with all the odds just to attain sure you are offered with a chance to test yourself.
Thus all we can do is request you to make sure you observe the blood they have shed in the battle field and cherish the difference they can name in society.
