Book Review: Narendra Modi-A Political Biography

Narendra Damodardas Modi, more commonly known as Narendra Modi is a well-known figure in the political world and is the current Chief Minister of the state of Gujarat, last but not the least the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate for the 2014 general elections. Standing as the next likely Prime Minister of India, Modi is  religious Hindu, an ardent nationalist, a hard-core conservative, a vegetarian, a hawk on Pakistan and the leader of the Bhartiya-Janta Party. He has brought the economic prosperity in his native state of Gujarat been  with the longest serving period of about 13 years.

Under his 13-year stewardship as chief minister,  he has widely commuted in India for his apparent role in facilitating the lethal common mutiny in 2002 in Gujarat which slaughtered people about 1,200 people, mostly Muslims. In the year 2012, Gujarat legislative assembly elections, he won his constituency term for the fourth time as the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

However, this personality became one of the most powerful people on earth within just eight weeks, he became one of the most powerful personalities on earth and which left behind many questions and mysteries of the man.
