Book Review: “Few Things Left Unsaid” by Sudeep Nagarkar

“FEW THINGS LEFT UNSAID” is a debut novel by Mr. Sudeep Nagarkar. The book tells a tale of the male protagonists Aditya, who is little confused about his life and is not sure what to do, in his life and what he expects from it. Aditya is among those people, who hate engineering and yet he ends up in taking admission into an engineering college as life has other plans for him. After taking admission in an engineering college as wished by his parents, now Aditya’s quest for his true love starts, which eventually ends up by meeting Riya, a pretty girl in his class. What happens next? The most predictable part that the male protagonist and the female protagonist of the novel fall in love with each other. Then, there is a course of all expected things in their life with regular fights, regular patch ups, regular tears and then finally the break up!

What happens next? Will they be together again? To find out your answers, just read this book. Available at lelobooks with rating as 4.5 and is a national best seller. In a gist of 231 pages, you will receive lots of emotions in it and the cover of the book itself leave so much of conviction and promises.

The 1st part of the book is really impressive and will make you feel sympathetic for Aditya. As soon as you will turn up the pages and reach to the climax, you will be able to predict it. The book is well written and there is no ending, leaving it as a part of its sequel. Sudeep will take out its sequel too very soon, until you read this book and enjoy the interesting love story of Riya and Aditya. This book will appeal especially to love-breakup-heartache college going “chiclit” lovers.

Now lets talk about some of the flaws present in the novel. The book is poorly edited as there are countless grammatical and spelling mistakes. So, here I would like to say that the writer has done his work but the editor has ignored. These have been usage so so many cheesy dialogues and writer ha failed to describe the characters in an apt manner. Few scenes in the book are unnecessarily added. There is repetition of sentences. The story offers nothing new, but yes the college goers would like it.
