This
season, the F word has changed its meaning with the advent of Cannes Film
Festival and taken upon as France, film, and fashion. This film festival titled
as Cannes has always been the eye of the cultural form. In the recent years,
Cannes has earned fame even by Bollywood royalty as they are also descended
upon the Cannes Red Carpet with their gala finery on, giving an outlook that
the festival has a bit of something for everybody. So, my dear ladies, just grab a cup of joe and settle down, as here I am
going to share with you something which is of your interest, the Indian
beauties, who were part of Cannes 2014.
Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, the model of our
favorite Sabyasachi campaign, grabbed everyone’s eyeballs in her column of gold by Roberto Cavalli. She
is a former Bollywood Princess and here at Cannes has definitely come into her
own as the reigning queen, making sure that no one dare to criticize her
post-baby body ever again. Kristin Chenoweth might have also been dressed in
the same attire at the Oscars, but for me no one can beat Aishwarya, no
matter when in gala finery or simple casual dress, as I really admire her
beauty and style.
I really do not know that it is just me or everyone
thinks that everything looks perfect when is touched by Aish. Those gorgeous
red lips of this pretty lady grabs the attention of everyone, including even
the passer-bys. It struck me to such an
extent that when I saw it, I decided to grab it one and just hope to get the
exact shade.
After the Goddess of beauty, Aishwarya Rai,
let me talk about the female style icon of India, Sonam Kapoor, who has always
been the headline for unique fashion. The actress has come a long way since her
hot and divisive nose ring at last year's Cannes, which topped off everyone's
'Best-Dressed' List, this year she has stepped the red carpet with a sheer pink
Anamika Khanna sari. No doubt that the
attire she was wearing is a sari with a dupatta that has been thrown around her
shoulders, yet it has an appearance of much high-fashion, which she has always
made when she has always out-stood. The
actress paired it with a stunning pearl and gold choker, which has been designed
by her mother, Sunita Kapoor. OMG, is this whole family is some fashion-forward?
Not strictly related to Bollywood, but absolutely
charming nonetheless, Freida Pinto appeared with glamor which made me drool
over her looks, all the day long. With
her Michael Kors attire, she was looking ravishing, but has not topped my list of
most appealing attire, yet the actor made her appearance absolutely stunning
with her crimson lipstick on.
The L'Oreal Indian girls have appeared with
the monochromatic looks at Cannes, they all looked elegant and stunning leaving
me with a doubt bout with whom I would want to go at Cannes…LOL, I mean I don’t
know which I'd want to go to Cannes for - the movies or these ravishing beauties.
